announcement notice

Hi everyone, I\'m looking for furnishing ideas and space optimization for a recently purchased apartment of about 130 square meters.

The apartment is located on the top floor of a period building, has no balconies but only windows and is very bright;

it is in good internal condition, it does not require major renovations, the fixtures are in good condition as are the parquet and the doors (carpentry craftsmanship) whose color perhaps should be rethought.

However, the two bathrooms and the kitchen need to be completely renovated, and the layout of the two bedrooms redistributed.

My idea is to expand the bedroom (A7 on the map) by moving the border wall of the living room back and moving the entrance door to the center in front of the window, knocking down the walk-in closet which is currently very narrow and impractical, so as to create a space large and symmetrical to accommodate a bedroom for two children and which includes a bed, wardrobe and desk for each of them.

In the second bedroom (A9) I would eliminate the walk-in closet on the left and create two symmetrical wardrobe structures entering the right and left walls.

As far as the bathrooms are concerned, the hygienic pieces, toilet and bidet, are currently arranged in the rectangular compartment under the window which in ancient times were balconies which were subsequently closed and walled up. My idea is to move the hygienic pieces into the internal space with respect to the main walls if in the future it occurs to me to restore the balconies.

For the kitchen I would like a single block set along the longest wall with a table and chairs ahead.

For the laundry room, I would need a washer/dryer corner and a cabinet for storing brooms, vacuum cleaners, detergents, etc.

The large triple living room overlooking one of the most beautiful squares in the city is the strong point of this house.

We want an eclectic but elegant and essential style for this house.

We love the play of colors on the walls or ceilings with geometric artistic paintings and wallpaper on one wall in the dining room and behind the headboard of the bed in the master bedroom.

Currently the estimated budget for the furnishing of the entire apartment is around 35,000 euros including bathrooms and kitchen and any additional costs for colored or artistic paintings or the addition of plaster frames with boiserie effect.

Thank you all and good luck!!
